2021 Fall Recap

Fall 2021 Recap | Wakefield to Marlborough

We closed out the BBQ season strong!! In September and October we were in Marlborough, Woburn, Brookline, Wakefield & Malden.  From construction sites to breweries.  We did it all.

We hosted our first indoor pop-up event at The Woburn-Stoneham Elks complete with DJ and cash bar.  The brisket and creamy mashed potatoes with black pepper gravy were a couple of fan favorites!  People ate, they drank, they bonded over BBQ.  It was an epic night!  We are currently planning our next drive-through pop-up at the Elks for February!  Stay tuned!!

We also had the great honor of serving our fellow Wakefield families at the Fall Festivals of 2 of our local elementary schools.  We made brisket & pulled pork sandwiches, brisket & pulled pork over mac & cheese with our signature sweet vinegar coleslaw and bbq sauce and we even did hot dogs on the smoker for the kids!  Both of these events gave us an opportunity to work with the wonderful families within our own community and we were truly grateful.

CRB Construction had us back out to Marlborough for a second time for another milestone in their Resilience Project.  We served 75 hungry men & women on the construction site.  The menu from pulled pork to the hot buttered corn “off” the cob did not disappoint.

At The Country Club in Brookline, we served 140 volunteer prospects for the US Open in 2022.  What an amazing experience!  The Country Club is on the oldest country clubs in the United States.  We served up brisket, dry rub pulled chicken, pork belly burnt ends with mac & cheese, cornbread & coleslaw.  It was a gorgeous fall day on the golf course and we met some really great people!

We closed out our Fall events at Idle Hands brewery in Malden. We sold out in just 2 hours.  It was a great crowd who really enjoyed our signature pop-up menu.  A crisp fall day with BBQ and beer is a no brainer.  We are heading back to Idle Hands in February so keep an eye on the Events & Pop Ups page on our website for more details!

We couldn’t have imagined our first year in business would be as successful as it was!  We are truly humbled by your support and grateful for the friendships we have made while doing what we love.  Cheers to 2022 and a whole heck of a lot more BBQ!!!  We are ready so we hope you are too!!!
